Performance
A top of the class winner, the 2020 Genesis G70 is to be taken seriously in fact it must be taken for a test drive. This Korean luxury vehicle come in less than $55K and is a showstopper. With outstanding acceleration and agile handling, the magnanimous power is fueled by a 365 horsepower 3.3-liter Twin Turbo V6 engine. Corners are taken in a most agile manner, and we really like how defining the vehicle rides for driver and passenger alike. It is super responsive.

Suped-up on 19" Alloy wheels, and muscular looks from rear with dual muffler exhaust. On the various road surfaces, the super smooth suspension made driving comforatable for all.
Absolutely dazzling, from top to bottom. You will be looking for reasons to leave the house. The car corners like a champ, and acceleration is absolutely explosive when you have it in Sport mode. All I can say is hang on tight, and make sure you are paying lots of attention because the steering will respond precisely and quickly--this is not a car to just sit back and relax and forget about what you are doing.
Fuel Economy
17 City Miles, 25 Highway Miles and 20 Combines Miles. Not the least outstanding for a smaller vehicle. 20 miles per gallon overall, 17 city, 25 highways. We actually got an average of about 19 miles per gallon in comfort mode on the road. However, though the mileage is decent, it is not the best in its class.
The Car
In its second year, Hyundai has done a masterful job with the Genesis G70 AWD Sport. It is a Best Buy on almost all charts, and the value with technology bells and safety whistles puts this vehicle at the forefront. Many who "had to get over themselves" with the logo and namesake, are doing that year 2, as the G70 has an iconic classis look that is a showstopper. There is so much to love about it, and it's getting all the PR. Hyundai has long said that it wanted to enter the luxury field, and when they finally did it--they did it big time. All of the Genesis lineup have been drawing rave reviews for styling, content, value and performance. The G70, arguably the mainstream model, is anything but mundane and unordinary. It is an extraordinary piece of automotive pleasure and should be on every entry level luxury car shopper's list.

You can't go wrong with this amazing lineup. They are all winners. But if you insist on making a distinction, here's the lowdown You can get your Genesis G70 in three versions: 2.0T, 2.0T six speed, and 3.3 T. We had a 3.3T with the Sport package as our test model.

You can get two different engines, and you can order all-wheel drive in either version, as long as you have the eight-speed automatic. If you get a manual equipped G70, well...you're plum out of luck to get an all-wheel drive system on it. You can only have automatics; you want all-wheel drive.

The truly lavishly equipped base model, the 2.0T, has a 252-horsepower turbocharged 2.0 liter four, and it produces a pretty generous 260 lb. ft of torque.

Did you want the standard package in your 2.0T? You'll get the automatic transmission with selectable drive modes, and blind-spot warning. The Elite adds LED headlights, a park-distance warning and some other niceties. If you want to go for broke, head straight to the Prestige version in which you will enjoy standard goodies such as wireless device charging and 19-inch wheels and heads-up display. Sport trims include all the Prestige content plus summer tires, upgraded brakes and a limited-slip rear differential.

We test drove the fabulous 3.3T. Here's the one you want if you want explosive power, hard to beat brakes, and handling that will blow your socks off. It really does match or beat what you would get out of more well-known brands, but at a price that is several thousand less. Comes with a quite lusty turbocharged 3.3-liter, 365 horsepower V6 with 376 lb-ft. of torque. Your work isn't done yet, though, once you've settled on this model. Now you get to choose among four packages.

Standard package get navigation, while stepping up to the Elite adds a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats. Prestige trims include everything that you get on the Elite version, plus a head-up display and a surround-view monitor. Sport trims include all the content from the Prestige trim and add an electronically controlled suspension, 19-inch wheels and a cool variety of trims.
Aesthetics & Styling
The impeccable 2020 Genesis G70 AWD is sleek, integrated and muscular. All aspects of this vehicle are well designed and thought-through. From end to end and supported by commanding 19" Alloy wheels. Integrated, stylized LED headlights & tail lights as well as fog and cornering lights.

It is a top-rated vehicle for its size and buyer will save thousands if not tens of thousands with the G70. With a quiet-as-a mouse interior the inside is flawless. Touch points are all in exact locations. With the lower-designed rear profile, access for some passengers may be hard pressed due to clearance challenges. Moon roof. Full access to trunk. Spare tire included.

Color combinations are beautifully appointed. Ours had double-red stitching and quilted lining; materials used are lavish. A thriller!
It really looks the part of a prestigious custom-built car, with a grille that looks quite like the ones on the top-level luxury cars costing six figures. The overall effect puts me in the mind of a BMW M Series. It has a low, sleek profile that crouches low to the ground, well-done character lines, and a muscled air about itself. Inside, you get gorgeous seating with red stitching that looks handmade, and one of the best expressions of quilted seat covers that I've ever seen.

The dash layout and trims on doors and panel surfaces are terrific--exactly what you would expect if you were paying thousands more for the car.
