HER HIS
Price
$29,497 Base price is $26,790 - a real steal for a mid-sized hybrid car. The only options included a preferred accessory package, body side molding and that's about it. Final price is $28,497.
Performance
The 2016 #Toyota Camry Hybrid sports a 4 cylinder engine and electric motor, which provides enough acceleration power and get up and go. Our rides were smooth, with acceptable handling on windy roads and responsiveness. Pretty decent, actually. Never had any problems on highway entrances, highway driving or urban driving.
Fuel Economy
43 city miles and 39 highway miles - a high rating in its class. I generally got around 45 miles per gallon with the ECO mode turned on and driving pretty normally--no unusual steps to increase the mileage. I suspect that I would have gotten even better mileage had it all been highway driving with the cruise control engaged--I can remember getting 60 to 65 miles per gallon with all the economy buttons pushed--ECO mode and cruise control on. Toyota rates the Camry Hybrid LE at 43 city, 39 highway and 41 overall. Annual fuel cost is an amazing $1,100 a year, based on 15,000 miles of driving for five years using $3.00 a gallon gas. You will save a whopping $3,500 over five years compared to other new vehicles.
The Car
Toyota Camry Hybrid does not disappoint. Dependability, spaciousness, comfort and value all add up to owner satisfaction. That is what you are buying in this excellent Hybrid edition. The appointments on the interior continue to be updated in this year?s model ? all very attractive and almost luxurious in appeal. Spacious interior, and good leg room. Trunk size is average compared to other models.

The line-up of competition is with very attractive models from, Honda Accord Hybrid and Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Ford Fusion Hybrid. Though, thumbs up to Toyota, they remain a very strong contender with their pricing.

If you are looking for a car you can "buy and hold", this one goes to the front of the class.
What can I say? It's a really good, durable, economical car. Camry isn't the biggest midsized seller around for nothing. It did everything it was asked to do without complaint. It's one of the roomiest in its market, and one of the most intuitive, easy to live with cars around. Sure, it's not glamourous, but it more than get the job done.
Safety
Safety GALORE in the LE, starting with the Push button starter, Keyless Entry, Driver Air Bag, Passenger Air Bag, Rear Air Bag, Passenger Air Bag On/Off Switch, Side and Rear Head Air Bag, Rear Body Air Bag, ABS, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, and Rollover Protection System. Emergency Trunk Release, too. Camry has the works such as Toyota's Star Safety System which includes enhanced vehicle stability control, stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist and smart stop technology. Camry has a five star rating for overall vehicle safety from the government.
Technology
Technology included on the Hybrid LE includes the Proximity key, Rearview Camera, Dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, Toyota's Entune Audio System with smartphone app integration and 6? touch screen, upgraded JBL audio system, and USB port.

Also included is the Sunroof, Adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, Forward collision warning, Lane departure warning and Blind Spot Monitoring with rear cross traffic alert ? all crucial to have.
Standard features include Entune audio, EV and Eco modes, heated outside mirrors, power seats, door locks, brakes and steering, BlueTooth, TFT multi information display including tire pressure monitoring system, and daytime running lights, backup camera, dual zone automatic climate control and other items.

Hybrid Synergy Drive combines output from the 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine and a small high-torque electric motor. The system produces a combined 200 horsepower and varies power between the gas engine and electric motor, or combines both, as needed. A 7.6-second zero-to-60 acceleration time places the Camry Hybrid?s performance between the four-cylinder and V6 models.

Regenerative braking converts the electric motor to a generator that captures kinetic energy when the brake is applied, storing it in the hybrid battery pack. Hill-start assist control helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backward when starting off on an incline when the brake pedal is released.
Aesthetics & Styling
All satisfactory and universally accepted styling. Never pushing the envelope, but it's all about extraordinary dependable transportation - EDT with the Camry. The grille looks especially pronounced and appealing; very updated looking. Pleasant looking car. With the Hybrid models, you get an exclusive sets of ally wheels, smoked tail lamp treatment, unique badge, and a rear spoiler as well. But my heart longs for the much sportier, sexier SE Hybrid - in black please!
