Performance
Saddled with 260 horsepower, this 2015 Murano model has plenty of power. Not as spry as some of its competitors, its 3.5 litre V6 engine purrs all day. Add its hifts smoothly and effortlessly with the continuously variable transmission. A winner in the midsized SUV category Pretty darn sparkling with the 3.5 liter, 260 horsepower six. Though the Murano feels pretty heavy when you first get underway, things get interesting pretty quickly. Lots of pickup, plenty of stopping power, and handling isn't too bad at all, though there is some body roll under certain conditions.
Fuel Economy
21 city and 28 highway. Would like to see more MPG coming from this model for urban drivers. The Murano is rated at 24 miles per gallon overall and 21 city, 28 highway, which is just about what I got while driving it, though I actually got one or two miles per gallon more in each case. annual fuel cost is $2,200 based on 15,000 miles per year at $3.50 per gallon.
The Car
Nissan Corporation does one of the best jobs in the industry of taking the design language and queues from its upbrand Infinity and incorporating it into it's Nissan brand. So it is with the new styling for the Murano; modern, attractive, and contoured.

One of the top buys for a mid-sized family SUV with two rows. Space is transformative and aplenty with a quiet cabin for a larger vehicle. The design team added more distance between the front seats to encourage interaction between the front and back. The additional room also allows passengers in the back to get a better view of the road. The Murano is supported by 18" alloy wheels. We love the Power Liftgate for instant access and panoramic Moonroof.

The vehicle is manufactured in Canton, Mississippi.
Not a car for the shy! Murano goes all in on styling, and the dramatic, eye-catching design turned heads wherever I went, and that same "go my own" way theme shows up in the gorgeous interior. More about that later. The Murano is not a workday crossover; though it is quite practical. But this is a crossover for people who pit a high price on design, demanding contemporary themes and who want something that doesn't look like something that everybody else has.

Aesthetics & Styling
The perfect blend externally and internally of near luxury, the Murano creates a winning formula at the top of its class for families that need space, options and demand more in comfort, safety and technology at a semi-reasonable price point. A cut above. Top drawer looks, though not everyone will like it - and that's okay. The interior design is breathtaking with unusual woods and metals available, depending on personal tastes. And there's plenty of room for everyone. The whole ambiance of the interior put me in the mind of Bentley or Nissan's own Infiniti.
