What is Women-Drivers.com™?
Women-Drivers™ is an on-line community where women share and review their Browse, Purchase, and Service experience at 20,000 new car dealerships in the United States. These real-time reviews allow other members to instantaneously locate certified Women-Drivers Friendly™ dealers.

Women-Drivers™ collects the experiences, preferences and demographics and makes them available via WSI INSIGHT™ subscriptions. These real-time, 24/7 reports provide correlative tools to understand the on-floor exchange and experiences educate staff and improve service to women. Ultimately, this will increase the referrals, loyalty, and market share of the dollars spent by women impacting your sales.

Why track browsing?
How many times does a woman come into your dealership and say "Just looking"? She may ask questions; maybe she even takes a test drive, then leaves the dealership and is never heard from again. Browsing is a key and frequently unknown aspect of the auto business. Nationally, women shop at three dealerships and chose one. There is a much higher chance she will not buy from you. Gain access into what you don't know about why she didn't buy, and what can be done to improve her experience. The analytics will give you an opening into new opportunities to educate your team on how to convert browsers to buyers.

An average dealership has about 700 women buyers each year. By converting just 2-3% of the browsers to buyers, an average dealership's sales will incrementally increase by $600,000 - $750,000.*

What are the criteria for being a certified Women-Drivers Friendly™ dealership?
A dealership must have a minimum of ten (10) reviews to qualify. For each review written a rating is auto-calculated and posted. Ratings range from a 5.0 (Excellent) to a 1.0 (Marginal). Each review will appear under one category - Browsing, Purchasing or Servicing. Certified Women-Drivers Friendly™ dealership scores are:
  • 5.0 - 4.5 EXCELLENT WSI INSIGHT™ score; Certified Women-Drivers Friendly™ Dealership
  • 4.4 - 3.8 GOOD WSI INSIGHT™ score, Certified Women-Drivers Friendly™ Dealership
  • 3.7 - 2.7 AVERAGE WSI INSIGHT™ score; Dealership not certified
  • 2.6 - 1.0 MARGINAL WSI INSIGHT™ score; Dealership not certified

What motivates women to go to a Women-Drivers Friendly™ dealer?
Women have many options to shop for a vehicle today. Most cities have multiple dealerships of the brand she is interested in, and also the internet plays an immediate, useful tool in locating the exact model she wants. In other words, there are lots of places vying for her spending dollars.

A Women-Drivers Friendly™ rating indicates that this dealership has earned the trust and reputation of being service oriented to women. Women are listened to, spoken respectfully to, and enjoy a fair and equitable buying experience here. The higher the WSI INSIGHT™ score, the higher the number of women who will shop at your dealership.

What motivates a dealership to be Women-Drivers Friendly™ certified?
Business is competitive, and dollars only go so far. Being ear-marked as Women-Drivers Friendly™ serves your business as women will be prone to stop at a higher ranked dealership first. Conversely, not being recognized as Women-Drivers Friendly™ can keep women from coming into the dealership in the first place.

Women enjoying their overall experience at your dealership will result in her making referrals* to friends and family, which will enhance your opportunity to increase sales and gross margin dollars.

*According to July 2008 Dealer Sales & Marketing, 83% of respondents polled indicated that their purchase decisions had been influenced by online product evaluations and reviews, and 70% share their reviews and experiences with family, friends or colleagues.

How do women write reviews about my dealership?

There are three (3) ways to add reviews about your dealership:

  1. Survey cards are provided free of charge. These 4 x 6 cards direct customers to Women-Drivers.com website to share their experience. Your greeter is to offer a card to each woman entering your door. Suggested phrasing: "Welcome to our dealership. Please visit this independent company, www.women-drivers.com, and write a review about your visit here today. Your confidential feedback helps us understand and improve our customer's experiences."

    This demonstrates your openness to receive consumer feedback and inherently shows your dealership is already Women-Drivers Friendly™.

    Sales team members, F & I managers, Service managers, and receptionists can also offer these cards. In the service area, attached the cards to the invoice. Also, place the cards in the customer lounge area.
     
  2. Use eblasts to engage her and share with her how important her voice and review are (Click to see example). We provide a standard questionnaire for your dealership to engage your consumers and prospects. This questionnaire is a confidential way for your customers to rate their experience. The template is sent from your dealership.com or from Women-Drivers.com It is only sent once and each recipient is provided an opt-out option.
     
  3. Add either of these (right click and select "save link as") logos (logo 1) (logo 2) or banner ad to your dealership’s website and encourage your customers to share their experience. Link the logo back to www.women-drivers.com.
Remember, the higher your dealership's WSI™ score, the higher your listing in our search engine, leading more women & families to find your store.

How do I buy my WSI INSIGHT™ annual subscription?
Registering is easy - Buy Now! - place your credit card order through our secure ordering page. Once you register, you will receive an email notification confirming your WSI INSIGHT™ subscription. The WSI INSIGHT™ report will be automatically delivered to your email account on the first monday of each month in an HTML format. We are excited to offer more formats in the near future, including printable PDFs and real-time web-based analytics.
